Work Party Dates:

7th January 2017 - Lingwood Pond

21st January - CWS Howe's Meadow

4th February - Jary's Meadow/Panxworth roadside trees

18th February - CWS Walsham Fen

4th March - Buckenham Woods

18th March - Holly Lane Pond

Good turnout requested at our County Wildlife Sites (CWS).

A full range of tools (rakes, scythes, bow-saws, professional strimmer & mower etc) are provided at work parties, so there's no need to bring any tools along, unless of course you have a favourite bow saw, hay rake or the likes.  However, it's advisable to have a pair of gloves with you!  We are also insured against any injuries.

If you feel as if you don't  have the required skills to use any of the tools supplied, our members are more than willing to pass on handy hints and tips on the best way to use the equipment.

Some work parties can be hard work, but we do encourage all volunteers to work at their own pace, undertaking as little or as much as they feel comfortable in doing.  There is no pressure!

Some of our sites can be quite wet at times, so come dressed accordingly and bring a drink and a snack as there is always time to stop and chat with other members.

If you are interested in joining us at a work party and you would like more information, you can contact one of our members for further details.

News from our sites can be found on the back page of our News Letter.
