Work parties take place alternate Saturdays, starting at 10:15 am and finishing no later than 1:00 pm.

- 11th October – Howe’s Meadow (SW section, rake and clear).
- 25th October – Jary’s Meadow – Area TBD.
- 8th November – Snowdrop Acre, annual work party.
- 22nd November – Howe’s Meadow (SE section, rake and clear)
- 6th December – Walsham Fen (Areas F, H, J & K rake and clear)
- 20th December – Railway Wood. Annual work party. Work on public footpath.
A full range of tools (rakes, scythes, bow saws, professional strimmer and mower, etc.) are provided at work parties, so there is no need to bring any of your own tools along, unless of course you have a favourite bow saw, hay rake or the likes. However, it is advisable to have a pair of gloves with you! We are insured against any injuries.

Please read the BADCOG instructions for working safely. If you feel you do not have the required skills to use any of the tools supplied, our members are more than willing to pass on handy hints and tips about the best way to use the equipment.
Some work parties can be hard work, but we do encourage all volunteers to work at their own pace, undertaking as little or as much as they feel comfortable in doing. There is no pressure!
Some of our sites can be quite wet at times, so do come dressed accordingly, and bring a drink and a snack as there is always time to stop and chat with other members.
